John was a great guide and took my partner and I out to Goddard Hot Springs for an early morning soak. What a great time! Alison and John outfitted our group of nine and transported us with our kayaks to a remote Forest Service cabin, where we spent four wonderful days, including one on which they took us to the outer coast of Baranof Island. I can't say enough good things about how friendly, competent, responsive and thoughtful they and their staff were. I would recommend them without any reservation for any outing in the area.

John provided excellent upfront discussion about where we could be picked up following our 12-day kayak trip up the outer coast of Chichagof Island. He has an amazing knowledge of the coast from Sitka north through the islands of West Chichagof. He then arrived at exactly the designated time and location. He provided very interesting and knowledgeable commentary about the region on the way back to Sitka.
